Anger Management
A 6-week course focused on helping the participants understand anger, the feelings, thoughts and emotions behind it, and then encouraging them to develop coping strategies.
Communication
These sessions look at how people can understand each other better through improved communication. The learning from these sessions can have an impact both inside and outside school.
Digital World
A session designed to highlight to young people the possible dangers of the Internet and how to stay safe online.
It's Your Call
A session delivered over two lessons that explores the reasons why people make decisions and encourages the young people to look at their own choices concerning sexual relationships and drug use.
Life Skills Course
A basic life skills course that focuses on anger, self esteem, communication, emotions, and coping with stress to help young people begin to understand the issues they face.
Lost and Found
A course which helps young people deal with the issues of loss and grief that can occur through death or divorce.
Mentoring
Meetings with an individual person on a weekly or fortnightly basis to help them generally or with particular issues at certain times in their lives. This can focus on issues such as exams, behaviour, anger, communication and self esteem.
Self Esteem
A 6-week course aimed predominately at girls in Key Stages 3 and 4. The course looks at why people may have a poor view of themselves and encourages the participants to challenge the negative views they may have of themselves and to replace them with more realistic and positive views.
Sex from a Male Perspective
A session aimed at young women that looks at how men and women can view sex and relationships differently and how young women can help prevent misunderstandings with men and keep themselves safe.
