Basis of Faith

We are a Christian, non-denominational organisation, with strong links to the Church of England and VIA (Pioneer) Churches.

If you're looking for a point-by-point description of what we believe then please visit the Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith which is what we affirm. If you were to ask the team what their basis of faith would be, they'd probably say something along the lines of "following Jesus" and that's what we all aim to do. And if that didn't satisfy you, because you were looking for something a bit catchier, then what we all would ascribe to would be along the lines of:

Love God
Love each other
Love His world

What that means is that we value an intimate relationship with God, as we believe that is the best thing you could ever have. We consider the Bible to be the inspired Word of God which has relevance today and through the help of the Holy Spirit guides us.

We believe that God speaks to us today, heals today, gives us gifts and cares about people today. We care about people too and believe that's part of what we've been called to do: love others by serving them, being there for them, listening to them, caring about what happens to them.

We care about what happens to the world God created and the people in it.
